In celebration of World Health Day yesterday, Evian launched Live Young, Skate On!, to motivate the community to hydrate and have fun. They did this by inviting everyone to join them at Collins Park in Miami Beach to attempt to break the world record for the longest conga line on roller skates.
I went with my Twitter friend @LoreLama and despite the fact that I don’t know how to rollerskate, we had a fun time. Although we didn’t actually skate, we did hang out and take pictures and ran into our friend Neilson from Brickell Info who was apparently doing the same thing.
It was a very nice, wholesome afternoon.
Ironically, and because this is the kind of thing that would only happen to me, I came home with an adorable pair of roller skates courtesy of our friends at Evian.
Since I find it highly unlikely that I will learn how to roller skate, I am going to have to see what I am going to do with them…
I am open to suggestions.
What do you think I should do with my new roller skates?
